About Reminiscence of Granite State
Reminiscence of Granite State is the web page to
introduce the lifestyle of Granite State and its neighbors. Granite State is a nickname
for the state of New Hampshire, USA. I lived in Granite State for about 7 years, from
September 1993 to December 1994 and then from September 1997 to March 2002. I had a
lot of experiences at the magnificent region, which make me regard it as my second home.
To write all the good stories about the region down to tell others, the web page was
established. My memories of Granite State are all constant and hard as granite. May
they stay as a lifetime experience.
History of this Web site
This web page was initially launched as my personal web
page back in March 1999, when I was a college student at New Hampshire College, studying
Computer Information Systems. It was the web page to introduce about myself, my interests
and so forth. I also had sections in which I published many covered songs, played with the
guitar. The personal web page went on until the time that it was replaced with this site
Where is Granite State?
As it was mentioned above, Granite State stands for New
Hampshire, United States. It is the state located near land's end in the northeastern
region. It is one of the conservative states in the U.S, the term "granite" can
imply its traits. In Addition, the symbol of Granite State is a old man in the mountain, a
man-faced rock situated in northern New Hampshire. (Sorry to hear that it's gone now.)
